It's time to move forward right?! But before we do I'd like to take a glimpse into the past and highlight some great games haha:
Sonic The Hedgehog 2 (Sega Genesis)
This game brought me through a lot of hard times as a kid... hey, kids struggle too! Great game.
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Tournament Fighters (Sega Genesis)
Nice fresh alternative to Street Fighter, I put in some good hours screaming "cowabunga!"
Resogun (PS4)
I think Galaga and Space invaders were classic. Simple fun games like those are why I can appreciate simple clean games like Resogun! Seriously. It's not ol school, but it still deserves a shout out
Super Smash Brothers Melee (Nintendo Gamecube)
When smash brothers first graced the Nintendo 64, I'm pretty sure I lost my mind... "Melee" was just as great
Power Stone 2 (Sega Dreamcast)
This game was a sand box of fighting perfection! I need to take a break and revisit this....
Virtual-On: Oratorio Tangram (Sega Dreamcast)
Ok. I lied. This was a unique one, definitely a classic! Sand box fighter at it's finest lol
Call Of Duty: Ghosts (PS4)
This is more of a
recent entry. But nonetheless, it's a good game haha
Battlefield 4 (PS4)
Again. Another recent entry, but like I said before: When it works, it runs smooth as butter!
Minecraft (Xbox 360)
I loved this game! Too many hours spent exploring with my brother. We really appreciated this one
Xmen vs Street Fighter (PlayStation)
Nothing felt better than the execution of a well planned air combo. Sensational game!
Grand Theft Auto 5 (PS3)
I actually enjoyed all the Grand Theft Autos. Of course they are so big, I've only the time to beat 2 of them...GTA 5 was so accomplished, it deserved it's own shout out!
The Last Of Us (PS3)
This game didn't get Game Of The Year last year for nothing!!
The Sims (PC)
This needs no description. Respect!
Pokemon (Gameboy)
Don't even front... you sang the song, you have a favorite TM, you watched the show!!
Final Fantasy VII (PlayStation)
Hands down
one of the best games of it's genre...
Happy New Year Everybody
